What a great quiz and Portsmouth Pub last night!  The teams, new and old, rolled in just in time to get started.  Among the favorite drug movies were Trainspotting, Half Baked and, of course, Pulp Fiction.  A few people misunderstood and were on drugs for the quiz…lol.  The drug of choice was Cialis.  lol

Even the wildfires around Hood River couldn’t keep Pub Quizzers away (one team had to drive an hour just to circumvent the traffic) and there was still a good turn out at the Horse and Hound this Wednesday night.

Tuesday nights at Portsmouth Pub are always fun and random.  Last night was no exception.  We had a few of the usual teams and welcomed the newbies.  Everyone enjoyed Bingo and did pretty well.  ‘The Ornery Pirates’ gained the Bingo [...]

Fortunately, the only fury on Tuesday night at Portsmouth Pub was the brain power and the competition.  We had a pretty good crowd.  The game was definitely on.

Man, oh, man.  I really coulda used an assistant at Portsmouth Pub last night!  There was a HUGE crowd.  And when I say huge, I mean all of ONE team showed up.  They decided to split up and go head to head…see who  the real brain of the team was.  Everyone had their strengths.  And, [...]

It was an intimate crowd at Portsmouth Pizza and Pub Tuesday night.  The teams were few and they were small, yet mighty.  The 4 teams fought valiantly for the coveted top 3 spots….and it was mere points that kept The Nelson 5 out of contention.

So my first night flying solo went pretty well.  I managed to get the sound system going with no hang-ups (thanks Toni for the sound check!)  We had a decent amount of players and we got off to a rockin’ start.
