I love it when Pub Quizzers take the theme to heart. Like last night when all of the sudden a French shouting match broke out right in front of me! It was awesome!! No other language can sound so raucous and proper at the same time!!

Anyways, they eventually worked it out as the French usually do and we had a great night traipsing through Europe in our minds… after some horrible pronunciations on my part at least… La Bo…. La Boham… dammit that La Bo opera!! I still can’t say it!!

When it all boiled down, we ended up with 6 teams going into the final round to play for the money due to a tie for 5th place…. ‘The Cerebral Pals’, ‘The Squirrels’ and ‘Shirts with the British Flag That Were Bought at Hot Topic’ (Yes, the longest name yet so far in my Pub Quiz Career!!) all came up a bit short. ‘The Baby Orangatangs’ took third after being in first all night and picking the crime question. ‘Pig in a Poke’ took a strong second.

But the night belonged to team ‘Schadenfreude’ who only wagered one point in the final question and took it all when everyone missed it. Well played guys!!!!
