Well the folks at Biddy’s sure made me feel welcome last night… and they were so gentle too!! Hopefully, they still respect me this morning! They told me they’d give me a call sometime… I guess I’ll just have to wait and see…

Overall it was a great night… the pot was up to $165 and the teams were hungry… Ms. Bebe Merlot took over the grading and we watched several teams get perfects on the Quizlinks… would this easy rolling continue through the rest of the rounds??

Ah… that’s a big no…. the Beatle’s Multiple Choice handout hit the teams somewhere below the belt… I’m not quite sure where… but it looked like it hurt a lot… and calls for ice were sent through the bar…

Come on guys… I mean we did give you the answers… hehe!! I can honestly say it was one of the toughest handouts I’ve seen in a while… But you know… as a quimaster sometimes it’s nice to enter all of those 10’s an 15’s into the scoring sheet… it makes me fell a little better about myself! LOL!!!

Anyways, five teams got past ‘The Beatles’ HO and went into the final round where everyone missed the final question… (Yea, good job at picking the category there ‘Gamma People”!! LOL) Even though they picked the tougher of the two categories, ‘Gamma People’ with a conservative wager came out on top with ‘Borg 9′, wagering all but a few of their points and ending up in second. The bottom three teams in the final round ‘Schadenfreud’, ’Party all the Time’ and ‘The Lovely Lads’  all wagered it all and wound up with 0… so they got to split the third place cash.

Ms. Bebe and I had a blast last night and look forward to next week where we have a great multiple choice handout on ‘the Rolling Stones’…. HAHAHA Just kidding guys!!
