Didn’t know who’d come out for a Memorial Day quiz. We ended up with a small, fun group including some veteran teams (The Streeps and Army of Skanks) and some new teams (welcome Steven’s Team and Nixon). So nice to see your happy faces!

Everything was going pretty well. Then we got to our 2nd round “Connections.” Let’s just say it wasn’t pretty. Not one group made either of the two connections. Ouch!

Oh, I promised to let folks know: the gay bar teams did indeed know what “offsides” means in football. Aw yeah. Gay bar. Football. Who knew?

All in all, it was a pretty close game. If the Streeps hadn’t won the Bingo bonus points it really would have been super close. In the end, The Streeps were victorious (whoohoo!) and new team Nixon came from behind to nab 2nd place.
