Quiz against the Quizmasters on Monday, March 31 at CC Slaughters was fun for everyone, even if Polly Want a Cracker were the big winners of the night and NOT the quizmasters, who sadly came in 8th. The pot was huge– over $450, all of which went to those parroty people. Host John Doyle was a lot of fun, and prizes were distributed to random people playing the quiz, as opposed to 2nd or 3rd place.

I think we’d like to have another one of these events in a couple months, alternating between themes. We’re already talking about September’s big Pub Quiz Tournament and getting ideas for that. Obviously anything we do before that event will be much smaller.
