It’s me, Toni, back from Quizmistress hibernation, with “Obey Your Quizmaster” sticker and pencil sharpener in hand. I’m taking over for Polly at CC Slaughters for a while (happy shoulder recovery, girl!) and they welcomed my rusty QM-ing back with delight. Thank you all!

CCs facade is under construction, but don’t let that scare you away. There’s always fun to be had inside. We had a small group, but it included some new faces - 3 Men in a Tub and Ida June - who made a great first showing and added sparkle and sass to the already enthusiastic CCs vibe.

There was rollover $$ from the previous week when CCs came in 2nd. This week they didn’t mess around and the CCs Bar Team took 1st place. I’d venture to say that the Bar Team likes it on top! Congrats! The Streeps made a great effort as always and captured second place.

Next week we’ll have a nice rollover pot so it would be a good time to come by! See you then!
