Ugh… as I’m sitting writing this… my head is pounding and my stomach is a little queasy.. that’s what I get for hanging out at the Lion after the quiz and drinking!! I blame the enabling theme myself!!

Of course drinking is our theme all week at the Pub Quiz and it was cool to see what everyone else was having for cocktails for the bonus points!!! The most popular team name of the night was ‘Shots on us!!’ won our Thirsty Lion Trivia Challenge and got some great Blue moon glasses… and we even decided to buy some beer to fill them!!

We had five teams get into the final round as we were playing for a $243 pot!! Nice!! ‘Lori’s Trifecta Party’ and ‘The Flaming Flannigan’s’ got into the final round but missed the 21st amendment to the Constitution which repealed prohibition… ‘Blazing Saddles’ galloped into third. ‘Scooby’s Red Rocket’ won the Rochambeau to choose the final category as we had a tie… but I think ‘Clarification Please!’ didn’t mind when they went balls to the wall with their wager and took the big split of the pot. Well played!!

I’m going back to bed!!
