Pub Quizzers out at Parkway Station were pumped for the quiz tonight.  At least I think they were - lots of British accents and costumes - I reserve judgement.  I did enjoy the man in the pointy hat, and Dazed and Confused and My Brain Hurts in their white hats.  And the lumberjacks.  It was a really big crowd for Parkway Station - Eight teams!   And with many teams come many good team names, How not to be seen and The Flying Circus, yay! 

After an roisterous round of Bingo, led off by Eric Idle (sigh), we found ourselves in a pretty tight game, half the teams had scores over 100, but the Beer Whores picked up the Bingo bonus which allowed them to occupy first place for the rest of the game.    So why even explain the rest of the game?  I’ve already spoiled the end!

Because round 2, By the Numbers, was a new one for the Pub Quizzers at Parkway Station.  It made for an interesting twist because the scores dipped a bit (it was all very exciting for me). A tough round for tough, British-Comedy appreciating quizzers!  At the end of round 2, Beer Whores retained first, the Sheep Shaggers had second and Team Funnywalk was in a close third. 

After the handouts, Team Funnywalk was bumped from third by The Flying Circus. And we already know that the Beer Whores won, but The Flying Circus took a very close second.
