It was a different feel last night at The Thirsty Lion as they had all of there Halloween decorations up… and I must say they were really cool… it really gave the bar an old mansion/haunted house feel… But the most scary thing of the night was getting to see THE Captain James Tiberias Kirk himself doing his smoking rendition of ‘Rocket Man’. Frickin Awesome!!!! I love having over 50 people as a captive audience and control of a two giant screen tv’s!!

But we had a quiz a goin on and the teams battled through the bingo round and then had to work some of the answers out backwards on the Quizlinks round… but we had five teams go into the final round… Sadly my two favorite team names of the night, ‘Who’s Nailin’ Palin’ and ‘Hetero Flexibles’ didn’t make it in. ‘Team Hansel he’ll be hot again’ had a good run but fell out of the cash like ‘Little Lebowski Urban Acheivers’ as they missed Anubis. ‘Scooby’s Red Rocket’ and ‘We Heart Brains’ also missed the jackal headed god but with their wagering strategy end up in the cash with third and second respectively. But the night belonged to ‘The Bad and the Wally’ who got the final answer correct to take home the big bucks. Well done guys!!! And with only two people as well!! NICE!!
