So it was a bit chilly last night.  And everyone was sooo quiet at Portsmouth…I almost thought I had stepped into the library.

So, we had 2 of our veteran teams, 1 team on their sophomore voyage and 1 team brand spankin new to Oregon’s pub quiz scene but fresh off the SF pub quiz scene.  And the game was on.

3 of the teams had the answer to the riddle.  Nelson 5 snatched up the bingo bonus points and took off running.  The 2nd round was a rousing bit of Who Am I…and Smokin Aces pulled ahead cuz they knew alot of the answers..hehe.  The handouts were fun and Pizza on a Bagel started getting boisterous!  It was cool to meet the newbies and have the fresh blood infused. 

Smokin, Vandelay Industries and Pizza on a Bagel were the top 3 teams…and the wagers were set.  Smokin was chicken sh!t and didn’t wager a single point while Pizza went balls to the wall.  It’s too bad that the Aces didn’t venture cuz they were the only ones to get the answer correct…but it paid off for them cuz they took the bulk of the winnings!  Vandelay gobbled up second and everyone was joyous.

I reminded and encouraged everyone to come dressed in their Halloween best next week.  So…I look forward to seeing what everyone is gonna be…….
