Saw lots of sweet before ‘n’ after shots tonight, including YMBP guy’s saucy lil’ pool renovation, Boner in Sweatpants guy’s bitchin’ vehicular overhaul, and Tx guy’s shower curtain to regular curtain transformation (which he sewed himself!) I have to admit to some house envy this week, as I’ve now finished a triple threat of quizmastering at Green Dragon, the Maiden, and the Belmont Inn, and saw a plethora of great home improvement photographic documentations. Makes me wish I had a lil’ place of my own to fix up all night. Too bad I am BROKE, though the way house rates are following, you just never know… I’ll just keep hocking away my sweet, sweet Pub Quiz cash and maybe someday I’ll have my OWN before ‘n’ after shots. Woo!

A nice, rowdy, good ol’ quiz tonight, with a super close contest and some great cheers thanks to the incredible comeback by the eeeevil Boston Red Sox on the telly. I am NOT a fan of the Red Sox mind you, being a diehard Mariners fan (I’m a Seattle boy), but they sucked this year (very, very hard), but close playoff games are great no matter who’s playing. That crisp October air just makes everything a little more exciting. Sure, the cheers weren’t for me, but it’s so easy, what with the hallucinogenics and all, to believe it is for me… that I am a beauty queen, striding down that velvet-clad stage, and everyone’s screaming for my pretty pretty prettiness.

Ahem, anywho, congrats to the Boners in Sweatpants tonight for eking out a close one over the eeeevil (but oh so goood) You Can Patch that Wall With Beige Food. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch of Rockabilly sweethearts. See y’all next time!
