Hello to all! It was a record breaking night at the Portsmouth Pizza and Pub on N. Lombard out in North Portland last night! The biggest crowd to date battled it out for of course the biggest pot in Portsmouth history!! Hell Yea! In the hustle and bustle of the crowd, smack was being laid down everywhere and the teams fought tooth and nail to get into the final round.

   The perennial team ‘Smoking Aces’ came out on top when they got the final question right and passed a new team to the venue, ‘Touched by an Uncle’, who had been leading all night.  ‘Ben and the Wizards’ came in a close third by missing the year the EPA was founded by only one year…. Sorry guys!! After thanking ‘Touched by an Uncle’ for the contributions to their bar tab, The Aces retired for the night with a nice handful of cold hard cash that they could use to stuff their pillows for the night.

     I also wanted to give props to two new teams ‘U better Belize it’ and ‘The Moose Knuckles’ for coming out and jumping right into the fray!! Great job guys for your first time…. And of course for the best new hair-do of the evening I have to give a shout out to ‘The Blondies’… you’ll have to let me know if Blondes really do have more fun!!

   I would also like to state that even though my cover was blown (Thanks a lot ‘Touched by an Uncle!)…. I still consider myself a part of the ‘Young’ generation!!! I’ll leave it at that!! (Stupid Vince Vaughn!!)

    Anyways, as a note on writing the quiz…. alright folks even one as great as I tend to get one wrong now and then… even though I’m really shuffling the blame to Ms. Landon and her 1st grade quiz writing skills (See last weeks post)…. Although now that I think about it, maybe that’s why I had to take the 1st grade over six times…. hmmmm.

    Don’t you worry though O you genius pub quiz goers, I’ll be back writing with a vengeance next week for sure!!! Ha ha ha…..hahahaha…. haha… (The evil laughter goes on for a bit here…. and on…. and on…)….. ha. (there that’s it ;-))
