I was elated to walk in to Portsmouth and hear the buzz of…people!!  Woohoo!  There were lots of would-be pub quizzers there!  I set up and encouraged the ping-pong/pinball players to stay and play with us. 

I was shown lots of neat before and after pics from all of the handywork my quizzers have done on their homes.  Some great ideas!

We started off bingo with 5 teams and had a 6th by the end.  Man, there were a few noisy groups of non-quizzers in attendance.  I tried to be loud but sheesh…there were times I couldn’t hear myself think.  LOL.

Anyways….we had a bingo winner, Facts Machine, within like 8 or 9 questions.  They were pretty good….Then on to round 2 of Today in History.  That one was moderately challenging, but the teams all did well.  The building materials handout was a little rough while the sidekick match-up handout was wayyy easy….lots of 100% papers there.  The top 3 came down to Team Awesome, Nelson 5 and Facts Machine.  Wagers were conservative….2 of the teams knew about Boston so they scored the dough.  Facts Machine walked away with the cash and Nelson 5 dined on leftovers.

It was good to see the place so full!
