Arrrggghhh!! It was a bloody nice night at the ole Thirsty Lion… we had 71 brigands aboard our galley as we set sail to plunder the rest of downtown lookin for booty… and not the kind up on 82nd ave either!!!
We were full sail through the bingo round and then came the This day… o wait a minute… THAT day in history Sept. 19th… or talk like a pirate day (hey wait a mintue… our theme this week was pirates… I wonder if that’s a coincedence? LOL!!!). Teams did well as we saw Nikita Kruschev sparring with Nixon in the kitchen debate on a video clue… you want to talk about a true pirate!! Arrggh!!
We had some fine pirate music brought in by a member of “What ye be sayin… Arrrgghh?” and we raised our glasses to a chorus ofthe old sea shanty Drunken Sailor.
In the end though it was the pirates from ‘Schroedinger’s Job’ (It could be there or not) who plundered the pot for the night!! Well Played mateys!!!
