Aaarggghhh… it was a fine night under the stars as we set sail for Pub Quiz Adventure with our Pirate theme running rampant!! The lads and lasses were fighting for a huge treasure chest of booty as we had 55 people out plundering The Green Dragon.  

I heard some great pirate jokes last night… ‘…it was me first day with me hook.’ and of course ‘…. she be driving me nuts’. But when it all boiled down we were there for treasure and ransacking. Aaarrrrggghhh…

Five teams followed the clues to our Pub Quiz treasure map and ended up in the final round. ‘Mostly Confused’ missed the pirate junk food question and had to walk the plank. ’The Squirrels’ and ‘What ya be saying….Aarrrggghhh’ battled it out to a draw for third and were thrown into the Briny Deep with just a taste of gold and share of the third place pot. 

Which left a swashbuckling battle between ‘The Booty Pirates’ and ‘Blazin’ Saddles’ for the treasure chest. It all came down to betting strategery… and in the end it was the ‘Blazin’ Saddles’ beating ‘The Booty Pirates’ by one point to take home the booty.
