I hung my Jolly tonight with pride as QM Jeremy took the wheel to steer us through the rough waters and find us some stable seas to sail…Lucky for us none was taken down by the Scurvy…aaarrrrr.  (too much Vitamin C in the drinks, me thinks)

Jeremy was along tonight for Pirate night.  We had some booty and some growling from the two teams on board our Lucky ship.  Jeremy even got some harassing on a miss-pronunciation on his part.  (God how I love it when former players become QM’s and they fuck up pronunciations it’s like a little slice of heaven just opens up and showers them with understanding and enlightenment in the form of a microphone).  Pronunciation is a tricky thing, you think you know what you’re saying, you may even use words correctly in context and yet one day BLAM some mother fucker let’s you know…guess what, you’re an asshole, you don’t say it “right”.  Well my final word on that note will be the oldest and best said “PA TAY TOE or PA TOT TOE” goddamn it, it’s all good.  Or as i like to remind folks in Portland, no shit from the town with the street name of  KOOCH spelled Couch.  Nuff said.

So Jeremy broke his pubquiz cherry and ran a nice game tonight, I only had to pull the mic away a couple of times to insert my bullshit, or my version of it anyway.  He ran all the rounds well , and fell into the pirate spirit with his Skully bandana on.  Well done, Matey!  ARRGGGHHHH.  Thanks to the gang at CC’s for being so kind and tipping us so well.  You spoil a girl, I could never leave you.   Every time someone comes to CC’s they leave with a smile and a nod of how much fun they’ve had…  We’ve built it, now you just need to pop your asses into the bar for an awesome fun time and great prizes.
