Nice crowd at the loverly Bridgeport Brewery, we had enough for the top 5 to play off. Seems the final question was a little to easy tonight as EVERYONE nailed it. That Pirate’s of the Caribbean ride seems to get lot’s of attention at Disney. Winning team with the appropriate name “Bad Clowns” took the top spot.
Let’s explore tonight the rule from PQO about team size. Teams should have no more than 6 people playing with them during the game. I will ask folks to split off into two teams if they have 7, even if one’s “Not playing” for two reasons. Number one, I don’t wanna watch your asses all night long like a hawk, I’m trying to keep score, grade, work a mic, run music and have fun. Number two, I don’t like to field complaints all night from the teams that “See you cheating” and then wanna tell me about it, I then have to explain about it, and assure them. (You aren’t really assured, I know)
So when a team is housing more than 6 from a far far away location like Neverland in the far right corner beyond the pole behind a small population of beer drinkers, it’s vitally important that you follow all the rules. I will tell you in the beginning to just forgo the torture and split up if you’ve got that wandering friend that “stops by” or “pops in”. If you don’t tell me that you have that wandering friend there, it looks bad for you. Really bad. I know, I know you’re not cheating, NOBODY would EVER cheat at a pubquiz for money. I know that. If you’re at a quiz and you do suspect a team with to many players, you gotta let me the QM know before the end of the game, we gotta have some time to act on the issue, get folks split up, squared away or just disqualified. Disqualified, it’s ugly, but it happens. It can happen to you if you feel the need to cheat. I’ll make that call. On my big red Mickey Mouse phone.

See you soon at another pub near you. Thanks for those that are ever vigilant about playing fair. You can be on my team anytime.
