The city was on fire as we started the Quiz down at The Green Dragon last night… black smoke wafted upwards from the tire fire happening down the street. But that didn’t stop us from having an awesome quiz outside on the patio at The Green Dragon last night. The beer was flowing and we had 49 people last night… only one away from 50 which would have let 5 teams into the final round… unfortunately for my favorite team name of the night: ‘Rubber Fire Refuges’ who took fourth and missed out on the final round… Sorry Guys!!

In the end there was a lot of confusion in the final round as “Dazed and Confused” and ‘Mostly Confused’ made it, along with the perennial team ‘Clarification Please’. Everyone got the easy final question and it all came down to the wagers. There was no clarification needed as when the smoke cleared ‘Clarification Please!’ wound up in first with a strong final wager which reaped in the benefits. “Dazed and Confused’ came in second after leading from the bingo bonus onward…. ouch that’s tough!
