Congratulations to the Terrible Twos for their first big win! 

Only a few Pub Quizzers were organized enough to locate a pay stub from March 2005.  Impressively enough, those who did have one had it tidy as a pin with sensitive numbers thoughtfully blacked out.  Now that’s organized! 

Even more impressive than their organizational skills were the scores in Hood River this week. The Bingo round, usually the best place to rack up some points, was surprisingly slow this week.  The Mattress Testers and Publicans managed to get over the hundred point hump and the 20 point bingo bonus went to Terrible Twos.

Round two, A to Z, was where Hood River’s Pub Quizzers made up some big points.  The average score was around 110 points.  At the end of round two, the Mattress Testers, Publicans and Forever Forth were in the lead.  After handouts however, the Terrible Twos bumped Forever Forth out of the third place spot and went into the final round beside Publicans and The Mattress Testers. 

In the final round, it turned out that nobody knew what minimum wage is, so it really came down to the scores.  Aiming for first place, Publicans bet it all and were left with nothing, while the Mattress Testers went for the ever popular one point win and ended up in second place.  The Terrible Twos, with a modest 150 point wager ended up taking home first place prize money.  Hooray!
