Fun night at CC Slaughters with a lot of our regulars representing. Perhaps the clouds made folks feel more quizzy. Yes, I’ve invented a new adjective

It was a pretty close game throughout the night. The Monday night folks were at a disadvantage with less than 24 hours to possibly hit the Shanghai tunnels for the potential bonus points. So no one really got any advantage there. The Streeps squeeked into the lead after winning the Bingo Bonus. (Heads up: we’re reducing the Bingo Bonus to 20 points asap!)

Halliwell’s Whore’s took the lead after a good showing in the Round 2 This Day in History. (They were the only one’s who got the male genitalia slang — Balzac. Good effort from the others with Le Coq. So many names for male genitalia, so little time.)

After the handouts were graded, the Streeps took back the lead. One of the riddles in the handouts asked “The more you take, the more you leave behind. What are they?” The answer I was looking for was “footsteps.” The answer I got from some teams was “shit.” What can I say? Sometimes in life there is more than one answer. And sometimes one of the answers is shit. I took both.

No one answered the final challenge question correctly, so again it was down to the wagers. Charo’s Angels and Halliwell’s Whores tied for first place! The Streeps got 2nd, just one point behind.
