Shocking news indeed, this Wednesday night in Hood River.  No more cash prizes? But the Pub Quizzers at the Horse and Hound took it all in stride and answered questions about the world wide web.  They were playing for the fun of it all along… at least I’m pretty sure they were. 

Either way, there was a pretty good crowd this week in Hood River.  Seven teams entered the competition and, even amid grumbles of dissent, all of them managed to score really well! 

That’s Bullshit, Forever Forth, and Nutless were the winners of the Bingo round, and the Bingo bonus went to That’s Bullshit.  No one was a Turkish Millionaire this week, but all the teams in Hood River did pretty well.  The top three teams going into the final round this week were Forever Forth, 100% All-Free Porn, and That’s Bullshit. 

With a total score of 580, That’s Bullshit were our champions this week, and were rewarded a Horse and Hound food certificate as a prize. Second place went to 100% All-Free porn, along with a hearty handshake and a pat on the back.  Great game! 

As a reminder, the Horse and Hound is hosting a special event next Wednesday night, so there will be NO PUB QUIZ on 8/20/08.  Go and have fun there anyway and meanwhile I’ll be hanging out with my best bud, who’s flying in from New York.
