But then, there are so many movies I haven’t seen, why should drug movies be any different?

The wind went cold this Wednesday night, but Hood River’s Pub Quizzers made it through, perhaps warmed by thoughts of drug-fueled benders long since passed. 

 The theme invited close scores.  Even so, the evening was led by The Crack Whores, Sandbar Developers, Moose Knuckles, The Clap, and The Mint Team.  Team Alt took the Bingo in round one, but Sandbar Developers and The Clap withstood a looooong round of “Who Am I?” and tied at 140 points. 

 The top five teams entered the final round: The Crack Whores, Sandbar Developers, Moose Knuckles, The Clap, and The Mint Team, and every team wagered high.  In the end three teams knew the slurred Clockwork Orange reference.  The Crack Whores won first place, The Clap took second and Moose Knuckles came up from firth too take third.

 While I always enjoy hearing about drug movies filmed in my hometown, I think the multiple renditions of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas were probably the highlight of the evening.
