A fun quiz was had by all at our drug themed quiz. Lots of people came in reporting their most memorable drug movie (for bonus points) as being Trainspotting… specifically the dead baby part. Ew. That part really did stick out with me too. Ugh.

New quizmaster-in-training Carly was in charge much of the evening. She’s definitely in the process of cutting her teeth, and I’m sure she’ll be just great once she’s got a few quizzes under her belt. Look for her at any one of the quizzes in town since she’s our new floater (sub).

Anyway, it was good to see Scoobys Red Rocket again at the Bridgeport. Seems their constant domination of the Wednesday Thirsty Lion quiz was getting… boring? ha ha. The Bingo round seeemed to fly by, with the exception of the question about AB+ blood only accepting AB+ and AB- donors (seems that Q was incomplete, but I could not access my wi-fi during the quizzy, so everyone got the credit). The drug-themed Name That Tune round rocked the house with clips by Jimi Hendrix and Cyprus Hill. In the end, the two-man team Clarification Please took first place. See you next week!
