We had a great night last night at Biddy McGraw’s… 59 people came out for the drugs last night!! Yea!! The only big problem last night became a huge bloody mess. AB+ apparently is the universal receiver of blood which means they can receive any type of blood not just other AB’s… worse part about the whole thing is that I’m actually AB+… you would think that I would know that!!
But everyone was well behaved with their challenges… even the surgeon who wasn’t playing who came up to lecture me about the epidural while still in his scrubs… How could I argue?? No sir, I don’t think you know what you’re talking about… yes i know you went to medical school… but i trust my writers… LOL!! No, he was great and I did learn something last night… as I do almost every night doing a Quiz!
But when it came down to it… there was a whole bunch of cash on the line and five teams got into the final round. ‘Petite Feet Feminine Feet’ and ‘Pralines and Dick’ (name of the night by the way for me!!!) made it into the final round but unfortunately missed the final question and a shot at the cash.
‘Yellow #5′ and ‘Yogurt Boat’ fought hard and took a share of the cash in third and second respectively. But once again the night belonged to ‘Schadenfreude’ who was in first place going into the final round and first place at the end of it. Congrats guys!!
On that note I want to talk a little bit about sportsmanship… I know it’s tough to have a team in your venue that’s consistently getting into the final round and taking the crown more often than not… but hey they play by the same rules as the rest of you and they don’t win every week… so instead of turning you’re anger on them when they win… use that motivation and get 5 of your smartest friends, find out the bonus points and study up on the theme for next week… then when you beat them… it will taste that much sweeter!!! And I can almost guarantee that they won’t boo you guys when you win… they’re there for the challenge of the Quiz like the rest of you guys… so step up to the plate and take them down if you can… if you can’t… well say ‘Good Game’, go home and use that motivation to get them next week!!
Well it’s about time for me to flip my candy… the visuals from the acid are winding down and I’m ready to ‘Roll’ into the day… Whoo-hoo!! I love drug week!!
