How I have longed to be justified to use the word “doggone.” In this case, I have an actual hot dog:
The steadfast Pub Quizzers out at the House and Hound paid no heed to their whiny, sweaty Quiz Master and took their quiz outside. My refreshing revenge was watching everyone try to decipher “I can’t believe I gave my panties to a geek,” over traffic and wind. Despite that mumbling teenager, Wednesday night was a close quiz.
The Bingo round was led by “The Femme Fatales” and “Got M.I.L.F?” until the Bingo bonus was split by “The Femme Fatales” and “Let me win, it’s my birthday.” Round two, A to Z, was a tie between Forever Forth and, no surprise, “The Femme Fatales.” In the end, first place was taken by “The Femme Fatales” who scored 539 points, and “Forever Forth” took a close second with 529 points.
It was excellent fun to meet and hear about the many influential role models my Pub Quizzers have known. Thanks to the players on Numbnuts for telling me about both a strong girlfriend and brilliant coworker.
