What a great night it was at the Thirsty Lion last night!! First of all, they finally got the video setup going so now I’m out of my tiny little corner and onto the big stage!!! Yea!! It was awesome to be able to see all the teams as they battled for supremacy last night.

My apologies for calling a member of the ‘Polish Lawyers’ an asshole… but you know I do call them as I see them and he was good natured about it and we were able to share a laugh and handshake after the quiz was over… but I still don’t think that I’m going to be getting any pro-bono defending any time soon!!

We had such a great turnout and all of the teams battled through a great all american video round of baseball and apple pie for a shot at the $219 dollar pot… And I got to say ‘pie-fucker’ several times… hell yea!!

But in the end, as always, five teams got into the final round. US Government was the final category and the question must have been an easy one as all five teams got it right. (And I still think I read the final answer… whatever the beautiful Ms. BeBe Merlot says…hehe) ‘The Honory Pirates’ and ‘The Polish Lawyers’ didn’t quite have the points to get into the money… ‘Scooby’s Red Rocket’ and ‘Give Me Beige Food or Give Me Death’ wound up in third and second respectively…. but the night belonged to ‘Mostly Confused’ who led going into the final round…. and led at the end of the night to win the largest share of the huge pot!!! Well Played!!
