I can’t believe that after looking up “Tsvangirai,” I was tripped up by C+C Music Factory.  I can always rely on the good Pub Quizzers at the Horse and Hound to correct me in a spirited chorus.  But who wouldn’t be spirited?  The weather was so nice that we held the Quiz outside, amid the wafting scents of barbecue and river water.

Anyway, the quiz was pretty tight last night.  The French Ticklers and Forever Forth led in the Bingo round, and the Ticklers took the Bingo.  Although I had no Turkish millionaires last night, Sandbar Developers, Forever Forth and the Ugly Americans commanded the second round.

During the handout round, everyone got to flex their drawing muscles to create their rendition of a famous piece of artwork, and although only on team got it right, an honorable mention must go out to Numbnuts for “man groping himself.”  (I named it).

In the end, the top three teams, Forever Forth, Sandbar Developers and The Ugly Americans, battled over the big pot.  Forever Forth bet a conservative five points and took a well played second.

The Ugly Americans made a bold move, risking almost everything, and won the game!
